Nina Falaise was born into a theatrical family and started her life in Skipton, Yorkshire. Soon after she was born, her parents moved to London were she spent most of her early childhood. It was not until Nina was three years old that the doctors discovered she was profoundly deaf. Despite her hearing impairment, Nina trained as a ballet dancer and at age sixteen, and was invited to join her first ballet company. Nina travelled extensively with touring dance companies all through her teens and early twenties. While on a contracted job with the Balletto di Roma she met her first husband and eventually had two beautiful daughters. Now, Nina lives in Great Malvern, with her second husband, Paul Leo and Percy, their adorable Springer Spaniel.
Nina has been an active participant in the Western Mystery tradition for many years, contributing her experience of dance and choreography to ceremonial ritual magic and sacred dance/dramas. Nina is also a Visionary artist who is inspired through ritual, meditation work and her on going studies of the Great Work. Nina has several artistic projects on the go, and has recently started working on a project with Paul Leo, which involves painting images for a hundred numerology cards!
One of Nina's greatest of pleasures is walking the Malvern Hills with Paul Leo and their dog, and if any other family members or friends join in the walk too, this makes it a very special walk!
