FULL MOON CIRCLE (Feb 2005)
IMMANENT ORDER, UNIVERSAL TRANSCENDENCE

INTENT
As we move towards the Pisces/Aquarius Full Moon, we connect the principles of healing, order, and analysis, allowing these to open us to an experience of universalism, the spiritual, our higher selves.
This month then we seek to bring a sense of order to our lunar, or inner selves. We seek to perceive it through the vehicles of our senses. Via the senses as they manifest through the elements, ideally we will see what we really believe about ourselves, how we really perceive ourselves and who we really are beneath the various layers of enculturation.
Through this order, we will then allow ourselves to not only move to the centre of the circle, but to move to our own centre, where we will hear not simply the voice of our inner self, but our transcended self.
This process will differ for each. For some, an
experience may be immediately apparent, for others it may flow in the days, weeks and months that follow, however it works for you, it is my heartfelt desire and intent to share an experience of :

CIRCLE CASTING
After smudging, each person enters the circle, finding a place that is
comfortable.
After grounding and centering, the salt, water, incense and candle are blessed by those who are calling the
corresponding quarters.
After then all has been blessed, the
circle is cast first with incense, and then with salt water.
Then all together honour this land in song...

WORKING

Moving from one quarter to the next, seek at each point an experience of who you are through the element relevant to that quarter - taste in the west, are you bitter or sweet, complex or plain? In the North what do you feel like? Strong, weak, crumbly, stiff? In the West, what do you look like, (in your minds eye), are you beautiful or ugly, human or otherwise? Finally, in the South, what do you smell like, maybe a particular incense, or even the earth itself. Through this, bring order to your sense of self as you journey to the centre.

Once all reach the centre, the following can be used to open each of us to the energies of Shiva and Shakti - empowered consciousness, this ideally allowing each of us to hear the voice of our true selves.
